I got off the plane today and headed for the California coast, when I got out of the cab the smell of salt water stopped me dead in my tracks. I love that smell. Then, after dinner while walking down the boardwalk all I could smell along with the stunning ocean air was suntan lotion. Good ole’ fashion 1970’s oil, the good stuff….fresh ocean air and Hawaiian Tropic, lovin’ it!

I am working on my stock library and already see some really great shots I’d like to get. These were taken in the most magical light, just before sunset. This should be a very fun week.

Oh…and those houses on the pier….that’s a hotel. Unbelievably cool concept.
