As I sit in my office this morning and get back on the bandwagon of writing, I came across a quote that is sticking to me like glue. I am writing a story on Carlos Costa, he’s a double leg amputee and world class competitive marathon swimmer. He actually was the first disabled athlete to swim across Lake Ontario in 1994. His story is truly inspiring and his favourite quote is something we should all live by, teach our children and embrace in every aspect of our lives.
When people say you can’t do this or can’t do that.
“The power of the word ‘can’t’. The word can’t makes strong people weak, it blinds people who can see, saddens people who are happy, turns brave people into cowards, robs a genius of their brilliance, causes rich people to think poorly and limits the achievements of that great person living inside all of us” – Robert T. Kiyosaki
