Sometimes you just can’t believe how much fun you are really having until it’s over. Last night, our haunted laneway was so much fun and such a success that I really can’t believe we pulled it off. Six houses participated in making our lane a haunted Halloween experience for the neighbourhood kids and boy did we scare the pants off some kids.

Those brave enough to visit had to walk up our laneway that was lined with glowing pumpkins, walk the lonely walk not knowing if those scary things sitting in the chairs were real or not…..then pass through our tarp covered haunted room and then get to the end where they could relax a little watch a movie projected on my back yard fence and retrieve their gigantic bag of candy as a reward for making through. All the while, knowing that they have to turn around and go back as there is no other way out.  It was a such a thrill for us who were dressed up as zombies and devils to chase them out of the lane screaming…….Halloween!! Best day of the year…..
